Since 1973, Cyrenians Cymru has endeavoured to help some of the most vulnerable people in society. These include people who have suffered homelessness, those who have led unsettled lives, and those who have accommodation, but suffer extreme isolation and disengagement from mainstream society.
We have come a long way since our humble beginnings and now offer services that encompass housing, health, training, employment, recycling and community regeneration.
You can access information about our individual projects from the links on the left. We have sites and schemes all across Swansea from the mumbles to the Hafod and will be opening new projects even further afield in the future
The charity depends heavily on the tireless support of and generosity of the people of Swansea and south-west Wales. From donations of furniture, money and time, to harvest festivals and Christmas presents, your kindness is a constant testimony to a community that cares. The Friends of the Cyrenians society publishes regular newsletters to update people on the work of the charity, and organises occasional social events to bring people together in a good cause. More information can be found on their web site.
