The unique and exciting new
project exists to assist service users from our Dragon Arts & Learning
Centre to exhibit their work for sale and commission; and to promote Res
A Rec, who’s aim it is to make high quality crafts from 100% recycled
waste materials.
The Celfi Gallery & Gift Shop is run with the help
of volunteers from both projects and will work in partnership with other
organisations also keen on getting people back into employment, training
and further education such as SCVS, The WISE Project, The Genesis Project,
A4E Project, Cwmbwla Day Centre and Swansea College to name but a few.
The project will also offer our volunteers a chance to gain recognised
NOCN qualifications in Retail, Communication Skills, Mentoring, Customer
Service, Positive Volunteering and Confidence Building; whilst providing
a high standard of training, support and supervision – helping our
volunteer’s progress into employment and further education. |
