Glittering Celfi Rises From The Ashes
BBC Wales arts presenter Nicola Heywood-Thomas has formally opened Celfi Gallery and Crafts at Llys Glas in Swansea, in readiness for a landmark training project for disadvantaged adults funded by the European Social Fund.
Celfi, a branch of the Cyrenians’ services, sells recycled crafts, art works, fair trade products, and provides gallery space for artists in the community. Some works are made by Cyrenians service-users at the ResaRec workshop and Dragon Arts and Learning.
