
Welcome to the Cyrenians CSET page. This project is funded by the Welsh European Funding Office until December 2011 under the Convergence Programme Priority 2 – Increasing Employment and Tackling Economic Inactivity.
Its focus is the provision of training, support and employment to socially excluded adults in the Swansea Bay area.

Cyrenians Employment and Training Ltd. is a company, initially founded in 1973 as Swansea Cyrenians Ltd., to assist severely disadvantaged adults break the cycle of poverty.
It operates as a sister company to the Cyrenians Cymru charity and focuses on overcoming barriers to employment, providing vocational training, work experience and access to employment. It also assists the development of social enterprise.
C.E.T. Ltd. has been contracted by Cyrenians Cymru to deliver a ground-breaking project to tackle economic inactivity among the most disadvantaged adults in the Swansea Bay area.

The aims and objectives of C.E.T. Ltd's Employment Support Agency is to reduce the extremely high rate of economic inactivity among the growing numbers of disengaged adults experiencing severe social exclusion in the Swansea Bay Community.
In order to achieve the aims and objectives out Employment Support Agency in conjunction with C.E.T. Ltd's other schemes will help and support their service users in overcoming barriers to employment, develop employable skills for the labour market and provide access to, and support in service users sustaining employment.
